Amy Duggar slammed her cousin Joseph Duggar\u2019s weird compliment to his wife, Kendra, after their jail calls were leaked<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cYou hear this? He called his wife \u2018competent\u2019 and she took it as a compliment,\u201d Amy, 39, said in a Thursday TikTok video<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cUm, last time I checked, marriage isn\u2019t a performance review and she\u2019s not your employee. And she\u2019s not filing paperwork, so what the crap is that?\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s so sad that it seems like she will accept any breadcrumb that comes her way and that means that she\u2019s probably been starving for a very long time,\u201d Amy, who also condemned her cousin\u2019s arrest<\/a> in another social media video, continued. <\/p>\n

Several jail calls between Joseph and his wife were published following his child molestation arrest<\/a> on March 18.<\/p>\n

In one of the recorded phone calls obtained by Page Six, the \u201c19 Kids and Counting\u201d alum bragged to Kendra that he was keeping in shape<\/a> while behind bars with a vigorous workout routine. <\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m doing my burn bootcamp-style workout,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cI\u2019m in a 7 by 11 style [cell], figured I might as well do something. Squats, push-ups, dips off the edge of the bed. \u2026 I\u2019ve been doing all that kind of stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

He further revealed that he\u2019s \u201ctrying not to eat junk\u201d and is focusing on \u201cveggies and proteins.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully I\u2019ll trim up in the process,\u201d he joked, as Kendra said with a laugh, \u201cOh yeah I\u2019m trimming up, I think. I haven\u2019t gotten on the scale. But I\u2019m feeling a lot trimmer now!\u201d<\/p>\n

Joseph was originally booked into the Washington County Jail in Arkansas before he was transferred to the Bay County Jail in Florida, where he was accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl.<\/p>\n

He was released from jail on March 31 after he posted his $600,000 bail and pleaded not guilty to charges of lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim younger than the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior conducted by a person 18 or older.<\/p>\n

It was reported on Saturday that Joseph was able to post his bail thanks to some help from his wife, Kendra, who turned their home into a rental property and sold many of their personal belongings to scrape the cash together. <\/p>\n

Kendra was also arrested in Arkansas on March 20. Both she and her husband were hit with four counts of endangering the welfare of a minor<\/a>\u00a0and four counts of false imprisonment. <\/p>\n

The mother of four was released from the Washington County Jail hours after the arrest. <\/p>\n
