WATERLOO, Iowa \u2013 Winona State women’s golf finished sixth in the weather-shortened Upper Iowa Spring Invite.

\nThe originally scheduled two-round event was adjusted to just one round after weather forced the cancellation of the opening day. WSU shot a total score of 342 (+54) in tough conditions today to finish sixth out of 10 teams. UW-Parkside won the event with a 317.
\n\u00a0
\nGeorgia Volley<\/a> lead Winona State and finished 11th overall with an 81 (+9). Kessa Mara<\/a> was just three strokes behind with an 84 to finish inside the top 20. Megan Young<\/a> ended +15 with an 87 to finish 23rd.
\n\u00a0
\nTaylor LeMire<\/a> (90) and Lindsey Lund<\/a> (92) rounded our the WSU lineup while Maeve McDougal<\/a> shot a 90 competing as an individual.

\nWinona State will compete in their final regular season event on April 13-14 at the Wildcat Invitation in Wayne, Neb.
