The timing is interesting since he came under fire last week for he failed to deliver a video condolence message in French following a plane crash that claimed the lives of two Air Canada pilots.<\/p>\n<p>He is expected to continue to lead the company and serve on its board of directors until he steps down.<\/p>\n<p>Rousseau was widely criticized for the lack of French in the four-minute condolence video posted online that included only two French words \u2014 \u201cbonjour\u201d and \u201cmerci.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"News April 5th, 2026 Breaking news out of Ottawa this week.
