After a disastrous start to the season, Brendon Little is off to Buffalo.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Toronto Blue Jays announced on Sunday that their struggling relief pitcher has been optioned to Triple-A, where he’ll try to get his game back.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Pitcher Lazaro Estrada has also been sent down to Buffalo, while left-hander Joe Mantiply and right-hander Austin Voth have been called up.<\/p>\n

Little, who has a whopping 24.55 ERA in five games this season,\u00a0has faced a ton of criticism for his play.\u00a0<\/p>\n In 3.2 innings pitched so far in 2026, Little has given up 10 earned runs. Those struggles were pronounced Saturday in Chicago, when he gave up three hits, including two home runs, while facing just four White Sox batters.<\/p>\n This season has been an unfortunate continuation of the 29-year-old’s struggles from last year’s postseason, where he became borderline unplayable. He was largely blamed for the Blue Jays losing Game 5 of the ALCS<\/a> against the Seattle Mariners.
