Little by little,\u00a0the cozy wallpapered rooms were filled\u00a0 with technology equipment, until almost\u00a0\u00a0 nothing of the original furnishings remained. Fortunately, this isn\u2019t where the story ends.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, the apartment has been restored with period appropriate accoutrements, albeit not as living quarters, but as a museum that recognizes the work of Gustav Eiffel.<\/p>\n<p>In recent decades, the Eiffel Tower\u2019s caretakers\u00a0 recognized the historical significance of Eiffel\u2019s\u00a0private office and decided to restore a portion\u00a0of it for visitors.
