The 28-year-old\u00a0started all 44 games in Minnesota last season, averaging 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2 assists to help\u00a0the Lynx in their run to the semi-finals.<\/p>\n
“Throughout this process, our priority was finding players who embody effort, selflessness, and a commitment to team success,” said Fire General Manager Vanja Cernivec.\u00a0“Each player we selected reflects the culture of what we are building, and the style of play we want the Fire to represent from day one.”<\/p>\n
Portland will\u00a0open its inaugural WNBA season on Saturday, May 9th.<\/p>\n
