Carolyn Bessette was reportedly not a fan of Gwyneth Paltrow, whom she encountered while working for Calvin Klein in the \u201990s.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the publicists on the brand\u2019s small team who Gwyneth was Carolyn Bessette,\u201d author Amy Odell wrote in \u201cGwyneth: The Biography,\u201d<\/a> concerning the Calvin Klein fashion house.<\/p>\n \u201cAccording to one person familiar with her thinking, Gwyneth irked her. Patrick McMullan via Getty Images<\/p>\n A spokesperson for Paltrow did not respond to Page Six\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n Paltrow was a star client of Klein, as confirmed by former staffer Kara Mendelsohn, who shared a story of meeting the \u201cMarty Supreme\u201d star in the late \u201990s.<\/p>\n Mendelsohn remembered in an Instagram post<\/a> that the actress, 53, had been \u201chelicoptered\u201d in for the fashion show and was immediately whisked to her seat, unlike other celebrities who had to wait for an elevator to fill up before they could be taken to the show.<\/p>\n Paltrow was a Calvin Klein star client and attended his shows, including one in 1996.
