Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively reportedly declined a last-minute settlement attempt over the latter\u2019s sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Getty Images<\/p>\n Attorneys for Baldoni, 42, and Lively, 38, were contacted for last-minute separate meetings to give the judge an update on \u201ctheir client\u2019s updated settlement position\u201d before the forthcoming trial.<\/p>\n The arrangements were scheduled after 13 of the \u201cGossip Girl\u201d alum\u2019s allegations against the Wayfarer Studios co-founder were dismissed <\/a>on Thursday.<\/p>\n Only three claims against Baldoni remain, including breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation.<\/p>\n Lively (seen here in February) and Baldoni\u2019s legal teams were contacted for last-minute meetings on Monday. AFP via Getty Images<\/p>\n The director\u2019s legal team celebrated the victory<\/a>, telling Page Six in a statement, \u201cWe\u2019re very pleased the Court dismissed all sexual harassment claims and every claim brought against the individual defendants.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThese were very serious allegations, and we are grateful to the Court for its careful review of the facts, law and voluminous evidence that was provided.\u201d<\/p>\n Lively later spoke out about the court ruling<\/a> via Instagram, writing in a lengthy statement, \u201cThe last thing I wanted in my life was a lawsuit, but I brought this case because of the pervasive RETALIATION I faced, and continued to, for privately and professionally asking for a safe working environment for myself and others.\u201d<\/p>\n On Thursday, a judge dismissed 13 of Lively\u2019s allegations against Baldoni (seen here). GC Images<\/p>\n The \u201cShallows\u201d star\u00a0accused Baldoni of sexual harassment<\/a>\u00a0and retaliation on the \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d set in December 2024. She\u00a0filed a lawsuit <\/a>against him that same month.<\/p>\n Baldoni vehemently denied\u00a0Lively\u2019s allegations<\/a>\u00a0and responded with a $400 million lawsuit against her and her\u00a0husband, Ryan Reynolds<\/a>. A judge ultimately\u00a0tossed out the lawsuit<\/a>\u00a0on June 25.<\/p>\n As the saga continues, several A-listers, including Taylor Swift<\/a> and Reynolds\u2019 ex-wife, Scarlett Johansson<\/a>, have since been name-dropped in unsealed documents.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
