During their time together from 2009 to 2012, the group released three studio albums.<\/p>\n<p>In a new interview, Selena revealed which song with her old group is her favorite that she now hopes to re-record.<\/p>\n<p>Keep reading to find out more\u2026 While speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/jake-shane\/\" title=\"Jake Shane\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jake Shane<\/a> on his show <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/ie\/podcast\/session-86-selena-gomez\/id1723626781?i=1000720979200\" onclick=\"getOutboundLink(&#039;https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/ie\/podcast\/session-86-selena-gomez\/id1723626781?i=1000720979200&#039;); return false;\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Therapuss<\/a>, Selena said she loves \u201cWho Says,\u201d which was the lead single off the group\u2019s final album, When the Sun Goes Down, released back in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s the most powerful moment when I get to perform it,\u201d Selena admitted. \u201cThat\u2019s honestly the only reason I would ever do a tour again, to perform \u2018Who Says.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p>While she hasn\u2019t toured since 2016, Selena said she\u2019d have to \u201ctake it down an octave from each year I\u2019ve sang it\u201d if she were to perform \u201cWho Says\u201d today. <\/p>\n<p>She then noted that she would consider re-recording the track because her voice sounds \u201cyoung\u201d on the original.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI need to redo it,\u201d Selena said. \u201cI should recut it.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>She then said that she recently heard \u201cWho Says\u201d on the radio while abroad and she started \u201ctearing up\u201d when she listened to it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was like, \u2018Why the f\u2013k am I tearing up to my own song?\u2019\u201d Selena said. \u201cBut it was because it was the little me who was there saying these really powerful messages that I still need to hear.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Also in the interview, Selena <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/2025\/08\/06\/selena-gomez-talks-friendship-with-taylor-swift-growing-up-in-the-spotlight-how-she-met-fiance-benny-blanco-her-mental-health-more-in-therapuss-interview\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">talked about her friendship<\/a> with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/taylor-swift\/\" title=\"Taylor Swift\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Taylor Swift<\/a>, marrying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/tags\/benny-blanco\/\" title=\"Benny Blanco\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Benny Blanco<\/a>, her mental health, and so much more.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Selena Gomez is looking back at the early days of her music career.
