Acuitas calls itself a global leader in the development of lipid nanoparticle delivery systems. They\u2019re located in the University Endowment Lands.<\/p>\n
Thinkific Labs (Vancouver)<\/p>\n
Thinkific, which is located in Vancouver and has over 270 full-time employees, offers a comprehensive health plan.<\/p>\n
As part of that plan, employees receive \u201cgenerous\u201d mental health coverage, up to $3,000 annually.<\/p>\n
AME Consulting (Vancouver and Victoria)<\/p>\n
AME Consulting Group has offices in both Victoria (head office) and Vancouver and employs just over 200 people full-time.<\/p>\n
The ranking says it is 100 per cent employee-owned and gives all employees the opportunity to become an owner through a share purchase plan.<\/p>\n
Smith Bros & Wilson (Surrey)<\/p>\n
Smith Bros employs over 130 people full-time, and encourages those employees to reach out and volunteer in the community. It offers a number of local initiatives and a paid volunteer day.<\/p>\n
Aspect (Vancouver)<\/p>\n
Aspect Structural Engineers, which employs over 50 people full-time, has its head office in Vancouver. The ranking says that Aspect \u201ctakes a thoughtful approach when employees need to care for their loved ones, offering a compassionate leave top-up of up to 80 per cent of salary for 15 weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n
Binary Stream Software (Burnaby)<\/p>\n
Binary, which is located in Burnaby, hosts an employee awards presentation and a company-wide event that takes place over the course of four days, updating employees on performance and goals. There\u2019s also a leadership Q&A.<\/p>\n
Safe Software (Surrey)<\/p>\n
Who doesn\u2019t love a referral bonus? Safe Software, located in Surrey with over 283 full-time employees, encourages its employees to share opportunities with friends, offering up to $2,500 for successful new hires.<\/p>\n
Intiveo (Vancouver)<\/p>\n
Speaking of referral bonuses, if you thought Safe Software was generous, software developer Intiveo offers even more.<\/p>\n
Vancouver-based Intiveo, which employs over 60 people, provides a referral bonus of up to a maximum of $8,000 per successful new hire.<\/p>\n
Redbrick Technologies (Victoria)<\/p>\n
Redbrick has one of the best perks of all the employers on the list, providing employees with a professional stipend, valued at up to $2,000 every two years, which can be used for a variety of purposes, including tuition, conferences, courses and other career-related opportunities.<\/p>\n
