The right-handed pitcher was injured during his Blue Jays debut<\/a> on April 1, when he sustained a right knee ACL sprain. He signed a three-year, US$30 million contract in December.<\/p>\n

Bowden Francis<\/p>\n

The right-handed pitcher underwent a right UCL reconstruction surgery and will miss the entire season.<\/p>\n

Right-handed pitcher Max Scherzer only pitched two innings<\/a> on April 6 against the Dodgers due to a right forearm tendinitis.
