Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey reportedly had an extremely awkward run-in while they both traveled first class to Hawaii.<\/p>\n
The exes were unexpectedly on the same flight from Los Angeles to Kauai, Hawaii, on March 29 and went out of their way to avoid one another, TMZ reported.<\/a><\/p>\n Lachey reportedly went \u201cbright red\u201d upon noticing his ex-wife, and she switched seats with a person from her group to be farther away from him, according to the outlet.<\/p>\n Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey \u2014 seen here in March 2020 \u2014 reportedly ran into each other unexpectedly on a flight from Los Angeles to Hawaii on March 29. GC Images<\/p>\n Making the situation even more awkward, Simpson\u2019s estranged husband, Eric Johnson, was also reportedly on the flight \u2014 though he sat in coach as opposed to first class \u2014 as was Lachey\u2019s wife, Vanessa Lachey.<\/p>\n But while TMZ reported that Nick and Simpson had zero interaction, according to Us Weekly<\/a>, they greeted each other briefly.<\/p>\n \u201cThey actually did say hello, and it was a nice, cordial conversation,\u201d a source told the outlet.<\/p>\n Page Six reached out to reps for Simpson and Nick, but didn\u2019t immediately receive a response.<\/p>\n Lachey\u2019s wife, Vanessa, was also reportedly on the flight.
