The Artemis II crew has proven themselves to be TV fans!<\/p>\n
In a reel posted on NASA\u2019s official Instagram account, the astronauts took a break from their important space duties to smile and wave at the camera, just like the cast of \u201cFull House\u201d did in their opening credits sequence. And yes, the reel was set to \u201cEverywhere You Look.\u201d Each astronaut\u2019s clip was accompanied by text showing their name and job on board the spacecraft.<\/p>\n
The video also featured Rise, the plush zero gravity indicator and mascot for the trip, as well as clips of the crew goofing off and making each other laugh.<\/p>\n
The caption reads, \u201cEverywhere you look, everywhere you go\u2014there\u2019s the Artemis II crew. These four astronauts are currently on their way to fly around the Moon in NASA\u2019s Orion capsule, which is roughly comparable to two minivans. You could say it\u2019s a full house!\u201d<\/p>\n
At the end of the video, Commander Reid Wiseman explained, “We were doing scenes from bad ’80s sitcoms when they introduce the cast of characters. So that\u2019s why we all did those, and we are cracking up up here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Along with Wiseman and Rise, the crew features pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch, and mission specialist Jeremy Hansen. They are expected to spend ten days in space and began their return to Earth on April 7. The Artemis II crew set the record for the farthest distance traveled from Earth at 252,756 miles.<\/p>\n
