Darren Till has a new fighting home in BKFC.<\/p>\n

The UFC veteran and former welterweight title challenger has signed with the bare-knuckle promotion with his expected debut to come as early as May 30 when BKFC returns to England for BKFC 90 in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

BKFC officials confirmed the signing to MMA Fighting on Wednesday following an initial report from Yahoo Sports.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cLook, I\u2019m 32, I\u2019m half a good-looking person,\u201d Till said. \u201cI\u2019m good looking, I wouldn\u2019t like to do the bare-knuckle. Not because I\u2019m scared of that, mate. I\u2019ve had many fist fights. My nose is scarred from the other month, I had a fight in Liverpool on the street, which was a very unnecessary fight. That doesn\u2019t mean I caused it, I was just in the middle of it. I\u2019m not really too asked about bare-knuckle, but I just don\u2019t want my face getting smashed up.\u201d<\/p>\n

Obviously his opinion has changed with Till now signing a multi-fight deal to join the roster at BKFC.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very pleased to be signing with the BKFC,\u201d Till said in a press release. \u201cIt\u2019s an amazing promotion! F*ck everyone on this roster, I\u2019m coming to be the face of violence. No one can beat me.\u201d<\/p>\n

As far as Till possibly clashing with Perry in the future, BKFC president David Feldman just recently told MMA Fighting that he had something huge in the works for \u201cThe King of Violence\u201d but he ultimately took a fight against Nate Diaz instead.<\/p>\n

Perry faces Diaz on the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano card headed to Netflix on May 16.<\/p>\n

Feldman never revealed the opponent he had in mind for Perry, but he\u2019s attempted to sign Till numerous times in the past to specifically match him up against Perry.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had something in the works, and they chose to do [the Nate Diaz fight] instead, because they had the one out on it,\u201d Feldman said.<\/a> \u201cThey chose to do this instead. I had something really big planned, huge planned for them, and they chose to do this instead.\u201d<\/p>\n

Perry still has multiple fights left on his BKFC deal so it\u2019s possible he finally faces Till sometime after his bout against Diaz is done in May.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Darren Till has a new fighting home in BKFC.
