Final Results<\/a><\/p>\n PAWLEY’S ISLAND, S.C. — The Missouri State women’s golf team closed out the three-day Golfweek\/Stifel Spring Challenge on Wednesday (Apr. 8) by moving up two spots and finishing ninth in the 19-team field.\u00a0 The Bears posted 301-299-303–903 in three trips around the Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in their final outing before the Conference USA Championship in two weeks.<\/p>\n Junior Coyee Zhang<\/a> was the top finisher for MoState, carding 73-76-72–221 to place in a tie for 13th, one shot better than teammate Kiser Pannier<\/a>, who finished 18th after shooting 71-71-80–222. Freshman Chloe Bolte<\/a> improved a stroke each, tying for 38th with 77-76-75–228, while junior Kyleigh Pfitzner<\/a> tallied 81-76-76–233 to tie for 58th. Junior Tierney Baumstark<\/a>\u00a0shot 80-80-80–240 and tied for 79th.<\/p>\n Middle Tennessee claimed the team championship with an 876 total, three better than Coastal Carolina and five in front of Samford.<\/p>\n MSU is idle next week before the Energy Transfer Conference USA Championship, Apr. 20-22 in Frisco, Texas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
