This large four-bedroom house near Yorkdale Shopping Centre stood out even in Toronto\u2019s heavy snowfalls this February, as a heated driveway kept parking easily available for touring buyers. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a unique house for the area, it\u2019s like an estate with nine bathrooms and more than 6,100 square feet just above grade,\u201d said agent Amir Kiabi.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen we had the crazy snowstorms, it was quite distinctive from every other house on the street because they had a heated driveway. It was the only house with no snow.\u201d<\/p>\n

The owners received an offer after about two weeks on the market and accepted a $295,000 reduction from the asking price.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn this market, once you price a property accurately, you can sell it fast,\u201d Mr. Kiabi said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere are very nice houses on Maple Leaf and in the surrounding area, but this is the highest transaction in that area, and I\u2019m not surprised. It would cost a lot more to build that house.\u201d <\/p>\n

This two-storey house on a 75- by 120-foot lot has a built-in triple garage, two offices and entertaining areas on each level. <\/p>\n

There is an enclosed kitchen on the main floor with two islands and French doors to a patio, an in-ground pool and a cabana. <\/p>\n

There are several wet bars, including one in the hall between the bedrooms upstairs and one in the basement gym. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere were no expenses spared in this house,\u201d Mr. Kiabi said. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe windows were German-engineered, imported from Italy and the kitchen had double islands with [stone] slabs.
