Paris Fury has said she knew that her husband, Tyson Fury, always wanted to return to boxing and called the sport his \u201clife\u2019s passion\u201d.<\/p>\n

The former world heavyweight champion, 37, announced his retirement from boxing for the fifth time in 2025, and it was revealed earlier this year that he would be returning to the ring yet again this weekend.<\/p>\n

His wife of almost two decades, Paris, has previously expressed how she wishes Tyson would quit boxing to protect his health and to focus on their family life and seven children.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the Press Association, the 36-year-old said that although she wants her husband to step down from the sport, she is \u201cnot going to deny him his dream\u201d.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI\u2019m happy for him. It\u2019s what he wanted, and I knew it\u2019s what he wanted.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll this time, when he kept saying he was out the ring, \u2018I\u2019m out the ring, I\u2019m not boxing, I\u2019m not boxing\u2019 \u2013 I knew in the back of my mind that wouldn\u2019t be true.\u201d<\/p>\n

The couple\u2019s eldest daughter, Venezuela, said: \u201cI don\u2019t think he ever retired.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris explained how she tried to encourage Tyson to pursue other interests and said: \u201cI kept suggesting to him, \u2018why don\u2019t you train people as a boxer? Why don\u2019t you get involved in something that you enjoy?\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe doesn\u2019t have any hobbies. And it\u2019s hard to take away someone\u2019s life\u2019s passion, and I couldn\u2019t be the one to do it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said to him so many times like, \u2018oh, I wish you\u2019d stop boxing now, you\u2019ve done everything you need to do. You don\u2019t need to do it anymore\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut he felt that itch, and he still wants to do it. So I\u2019m not going to deny him that dream.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe couldn\u2019t find anything else good. No matter what we did, we couldn\u2019t find him something he enjoyed. It\u2019s hard. It\u2019s hard work, a one-track mind with him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris also reflected on 16-year-old daughter Venezuela getting engaged, and said: \u201cThere\u2019s a part of me that is a little bit sad that it\u2019s all happened so soon, because I still feel like I\u2019m so young, and I feel like my kids\u2026 imagine my brain, they\u2019re all babies and they\u2019re all at home.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut obviously, Venezuela is a young woman. She\u2019s 16 years old. She makes her own choices in life. But on the other hand, the mirror image.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think (she is) so lucky. Like, you\u2019ve met this person that you want to spend your life with. I did the same thing at 17.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cI do think it\u2019s beautiful that she\u2019s found what she wants.\u201d<\/p>\n

Venezuela announced her engagement to her fiance, Noah Price, on Instagram last September, and it is rumoured the couple will tie the knot later this year.<\/p>\n

Paris also discussed the making of her family\u2019s fly-on-the-wall documentary series, At Home With The Furys, and called it a \u201cgood experience\u201d for her children.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI think it\u2019s good for my little kids. They all see different people, and they\u2019re always chatting, so that\u2019s good. I think it\u2019s great for them to build social skills that way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI also think it\u2019s great for (Venezuela), for building her platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s doing social media work and she\u2019s doing different branding work. And for me, I just enjoyed it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paris hailed the \u201camazing\u201d response from the public to the show, but added: \u201cWe don\u2019t realise we are celebrities. It doesn\u2019t click.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike, we just act totally normal. We live normal life. We aren\u2019t really very flash.\u201d<\/p>\n
