Get to know these new carbon cranks below\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The Easton EC90 ALX crankset is the brand\u2019s new flagship carbon offering. Redesigned from the spindle to the arms and inserts, Easton says the EC90s are the lightest cranks they\u2019ve ever made. According to the brand, each crank\u2019s carbon fiber layup is bonded with ultralight inserts through a proprietary process and resin system. The cranks also feature a wear plate, created in response to rider feedback. It sits in the area most likely to suffer from shoe rub, which is a nice touch for a lightweight carbon crank.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/easton-ec90-alx-crankset_4.jpeg\" class=\"media-img\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/easton-ec90-alx-crankset_4.jpeg\" alt=\"Easton EC90 ALX Crankset\" width=\"2000\" height=\"1332\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-249675\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The EC90 ALX is available in five crank lengths ranging from 160 to 175mm, with a variety of ring combinations available through Easton in both 1x and 2x configurations. The cranks are made of three materials: a carbon body, a stainless steel wear plate, and aluminum pedal inserts. With a standard Q factor of 150mm, the spindle diameter is 30mm. The LS spindle is compatible with Shimano road and SRAM 1x\/2x drivetrains, while the LS wide spindle is compatible with Shimano gravel groupsets and includes two spacers. The claimed weight of the standard spindle, crank, and chainring is 419 grams.
