\u201c4:30 p.m. we get a call of a structure fire at 40 College Street, that\u2019s right behind Lange and Feter (Ford dealership). Flames shooting out the back of the house, one gentleman was trying to put the fire out. Crews did a fast attack, very stubborn fire.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo injuries. This fire, unfortunately, somebody smoking and discarding their cigarettes not in a safe manner.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the same time we got another call at 25 Ontario, which is a high rise about a block away. We responded there and it was smoke from this fire that actually a woman had her windows open and set the alarms off in that building, so we had to call a general alarm just to have enough firefighters to look after both of these scenes.\u201d<\/p>\n
