A Calgary man says he\u2019s had even better luck than sinking a hole\u2011in\u2011one after discovering he won $2 million in the March 28 Lotto 6\/49 draw.<\/p>\n
Ray Born, an avid golfer with a 2:30 a.m. daily routine of watching sports and checking his lottery tickets, learned he\u2019d hit the jackpot during one of those early\u2011morning rituals. <\/p>\n
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation says he immediately woke his wife, despite the hour, before heading out for a celebratory round of golf, where he shot an 84.<\/p>\n
Born is already dreaming of retirement and \u201cgreener pastures,\u201d imagining a future with a golf\u2011course membership and even his own cart. He also plans to travel to Scotland, the birthplace of his favourite sport.<\/p>\n
Before any big purchases or overseas trips, though, he says the first order of business is treating the whole family to a steak dinner.<\/p>\n
