Angelina Jolie is prepping to sell the estate of famed filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille<\/a>, which she snapped up for $24.5 million in 2017, sources tell Page Six.<\/p>\n Sitting on 2-plus acres in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz, the house \u2014 where the \u201cSunset Boulevard\u201d director lived for roughly 40 years, until his 1959 death \u2014 was built in 1913 and has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms <\/a>across more than 11,000 square feet of interior space.<\/p>\n We hear that Angelina Jolie is eyeing a sale of her historic LA estate. DeMille. \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n The estate also has four fireplaces, a vast wine cellar, a tea house, views of the Griffith Observatory, formal gardens and a pool with cascading fountains on either side.<\/p>\n Jolie reportedly spent the pandemic<\/a> isolating there with her kids, and also housed friends <\/a>there who were displaced by the area wildfires earlier this year.<\/p>\n She told British Vogue in 2021<\/a> of the location, \u201cI wanted it to be close to their dad, who is only five minutes away.\u201d<\/p>\n She was referring, of course, to ex-husband Brad Pitt<\/a>. <\/p>\n DeMille lived in the home for nearly 40 years. \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n Jolie bought the home in 2017. \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n Jolie reportedly paid $24.5 million. \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n The house was restored to its original details. \/ SplashNews.com<\/p>\n The couple split in 2016 and waged an eight-year legal war<\/a> hashing out asset distribution and custody of their six kids. They settled last year, but are still battling over a $500 million French winery<\/a>, Ch\u00e2teau Miraval.<\/p>\n Jolie added in 2021 of the property: \u201cI felt a little pressure moving in. Like I had snuck into where DeMille and [Charlie] Chaplin would hang out. I love most that there is no entertainment room, but lots of pathways and places to walk and think.
