Chelsea host Manchester City in a huge game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and Alan Shearer has given his prediction.<\/p>\n

The Blues stopped a run of four consecutive defeats with a 7-0 win against Port Vale in the FA Cup last weekend, but City pose a totally different threat.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have lost their last two league games against Newcastle and Everton, and are currently out the Champions League places in sixth.<\/p>\n

Alan Shearer gives Chelsea vs Manchester City prediction<\/p>\n

The Blues haven\u2019t beaten City since the 2021 Champions League final, but did get an unexpected point at the Etihad earlier this season.<\/p>\n

Liam Rosenior has confirmed Chelsea will be without Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah,<\/a> whilst Enzo Fernandez will serve the final game of his suspension.<\/p>\n

With just seven games left Chelsea can\u2019t afford to drop more points in the race for Champions League football, and Shearer has given his prediction.<\/p>\n

\u201cMan City have to win every game with that huge game against Arsenal next weekend,\u201d he wrote in his Metro<\/a> column.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think with what we saw against Arsenal, with what we saw particularly against Liverpool after 25 minutes, City were brilliant, probably one of the best performances of the season. I would think they would carry that on, and I think City will win against Chelsea.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Man City don\u2019t win and Arsenal win this weekend, I think the Premier League title race will be dead and buried.<\/p>\n
