Nova Scotians are getting another break at the pump after the provincial regulator invoked the interrupter clause on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Effective at midnight, the Nova Scotia Energy Board adjusted the prices of gasoline and diesel due to \u201csignificant shifts in the market prices.\u201d<\/p>\n
As of Saturday, the price of regular self-serve gasoline in Halifax is 178.7 cents per litre.<\/p>\n
That is a decrease of 6.7 cents.<\/p>\n
Diesel saw an even bigger drop of 12.2 cents to sit at 225.4 cents per litre.<\/p>\n
The Energy Board monitors the markets for gasoline and diesel oil daily and, should conditions warrant, may set a new price at any time.<\/p>\n
