The Denver Broncos<\/a> haven’t added a lot of outside help this season, though they did make a massive splash in a trade for Jaylen Waddle.<\/p>\n

They sent their first and third rounders to the Miami Dolphins<\/a> for Waddle, leaving the Broncos with the 62nd pick as their earliest selection in this year’s draft.<\/p>\n

And with that pick, ESPN’s Jeff Legwold<\/a> has the Broncos zeroing in on tight end help after the Evan Engram letdown from last season.<\/p>\n

“The Broncos have just one pick before Day 3. They need to find a starter at… Tight end,” Legwold writes. “Perhaps not the starter, given coach Sean Payton’s comments about liking the group with Evan Engram (50 catches last season) and Adam Trautman returning, but Denver certainly needs more impact.”<\/p>\n

The tight end room in Denver isn’t good enough to stop the Broncos from adding help this offseason. And in the draft, it’s a great time for Denver to make a splash.<\/p>\n

Even with no first or third round picks, the Broncos should be well-positioned to have a few tight ends available with the 62nd pick.<\/p>\n

Ohio State’s Max Klare, NC State’s Justin Joly, Vanderbilt’s Eli Stowers, and Georgia’s Oscar Delp are a few names to keep in mind for the Broncos’ second-round pick.<\/p>\n

Klare and Joly have had top-30 visits with the Broncos, making them very likely options with this lone pick inside the first three rounds of the draft.<\/p>\n

But, regardless of how it works out, the Broncos need to find more tight end help after Engram was a bit of a letdown last year. The hype was palpable for the “Joker” in Engram, but he didn’t do nearly enough to get fans excited going into 2026.<\/p>\n

Denver needs to add tight-end help, and Klare or Joly in the second round with the 62nd pick are two names fans should keep in mind as the draft approaches.<\/p>\n
