{"id":597577,"date":"2026-04-11T18:47:31","date_gmt":"2026-04-11T18:47:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/597577\/"},"modified":"2026-04-11T18:47:31","modified_gmt":"2026-04-11T18:47:31","slug":"second-suspect-charged-in-deadly-2025-king-west-shooting-2-others-still-on-the-loose","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/597577\/","title":{"rendered":"Second suspect charged in deadly 2025 King West shooting, 2 others still on the loose"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Authorities have arrested and charged a second suspect in connection with a shooting that killed a teenager in Toronto\u2019s Entertainment District last year.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation dates back to the early morning hours of November 25, 2025, when detectives say a man from Montreal, identified as 27-year-old Frandy Noel, was approached by a group of males who began shooting at him in the King Street West and Spadina Avenue area at approximately 4:45 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>He was struck by a bullet, but police allege he returned fire with his own gun striking 18-year-old Dylan Adams.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/dylan-adams-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Photo of Dylan Adams.\" class=\"wp-image-4707636\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9;object-fit:cover\"\/>Photo of Dylan Adams. TPS\/HO<\/p>\n<p>Both individuals were brought to a hospital for treatment. Shortly after, Adams was pronounced dead and became Toronto\u2019s 37th homicide of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Noel was arrested the next day and charged with second-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, authorities provided an update on the case and announced the arrest of 22-year-old Zavion Boswell of Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with five offences in connection with the shooting, including manslaughter, robbery with a firearm and three counts of possession of a restricted\/prohibited firearm.<\/p>\n<p>He is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/processed-4FE8309D-1120-486C-9472-EC5A7B7C086A-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4809041\" style=\"aspect-ratio:16\/9;object-fit:cover\"\/>Photo shows the scene of a shooting on King Street West on November 25, 2025.
