{"id":599041,"date":"2026-04-12T12:02:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-12T12:02:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/599041\/"},"modified":"2026-04-12T12:02:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-12T12:02:07","slug":"scarborough-car-dealership-fire-multiple-vehicles-on-fire","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/599041\/","title":{"rendered":"Scarborough car dealership fire: Multiple vehicles on fire"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Four vehicles have been destroyed in an early morning fire at a commercial property in Scarborough.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto police say officers responded at around 5:05 a.m. to reports of multiple vehicles on fire in the Kennedy Road and Ellesmere Road area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Toronto Fire crews arrived to find four vehicles burning at a car dealership, noting the fires were quickly extinguished.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">No injuries were reported, and no people were located on scene at the time of the fire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The cause of the fire remains unknown and is under investigation. Officials tell CP24, one fire truck remained on scene for fire watch.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">As a result, northbound Kennedy Road was closed at Shropshire Drive for the investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Four vehicles have been destroyed in an early morning fire at a commercial property in Scarborough.
