{"id":59942,"date":"2025-08-10T20:59:09","date_gmt":"2025-08-10T20:59:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/59942\/"},"modified":"2025-08-10T20:59:09","modified_gmt":"2025-08-10T20:59:09","slug":"vettel-opens-door-far-and-wide-for-a-formula-one-comeback","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/59942\/","title":{"rendered":"Vettel opens door far and wide for a Formula One comeback!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gpblog.com\/en\/f1-drivers\/sebastian-vettel\" title=\"Sebastian Vettel\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sebastian Vettel<\/a>, after having been retired for over two years, has left the door open for a return to Formula 1.<\/p>\n<p>After having driven for Aston Martin for a two-season long spell, the German hung up his Formula 1 racing boots at the end of the 2022 season.<\/p>\n<p>Vettel would welcome F1 return, but in a different capacity<\/p>\n<p>By the looks of it, his plans don&#8217;t involve donning them on once again.<\/p>\n<p>His comeback would not mean a return to the cockpit for the Heppenheimer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy time as a driver is over,\u201d Vettel said during an appearance on ZDF Sports Studio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut taking on another role somewhere in the sport is certainly something I could imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/sebastian-vettel-helmut-marko-planetf1-6873b8686ac36.jpg@webp.webp\" class=\"w-auto\" alt=\"Vettel still retains a good relationship with Red Bull leadership including Helmut Marko\"\/>Vettel is still needed at home, but &#8216;who knows what the future may bring&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>After walking away from the sport Vettel explained that he wanted to spend more time with his wife Hanna and their three children.<\/p>\n<p>While life away from the paddock is keeping him busy, he admits the sport remains close to his heart.<\/p>\n<p>These days, Vettel splits his time between family life, agricultural training, and his environmental and sustainability commitments.
