An investigation has been launched by police after a woman has been raped by several men outside a church<\/a> after leaving a nightclub. <\/p>\n The victim, aged in her 20s, said she was followed after leaving Labyrinth Epsom nightclub and then attacked, Surrey Police<\/a> said in a social media post.<\/p>\n The attack is believed to have occurred between 2am and 4am on Saturday outside Epsom Methodist Church on Ashley Road.<\/p>\n The force added that it currently did not have \u201cfull descriptions of the suspects\u201d and are \u201cworking hard\u201d on this.<\/p>\n Detective Inspector Aine Matthews said in a statement: \u201cWe understand this is an extremely distressing incident and the victim is being supported by specialist officers.<\/p>\n \u201cOur investigation is in its early stages and a team of officers have been conducting extensive inquiries today to identify and locate the suspects.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are working at pace to develop our picture of the suspects and we will share details as soon as we are able to.<\/p>\n \u201cAs part of our investigation, we would like to speak to anyone who was in the area between 2am and 4am and may have seen or spoken to a woman in her 20s in distress.\u201d<\/p>\n
