Cameron Young is going for the biggest win of his professional career at the 2026 Masters<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 28-year-old American began the first men’s major of the year dreadfully, playing his first seven holes in four-over par.\u00a0<\/p>\n

But since then the PGA Tour<\/a> golfer, who proved his metal at the 2025 Ryder Cup last September and won the Players at famed TPC just four weeks ago, has been on a tear.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A 67 on Thursday saw him comfortably make the cut and a stunning 65 yesterday lifted Young to a 54-hole score of 11-under par.<\/p>\n

On his fifth visit to Augusta National, Young<\/a> will play in the final group alongside the defending champion Rory McIlroy<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young will be supported outside the gallery ropes by his wife Kelsey, their three children and his parents David and Barbara.\u00a0<\/p>\n

New York-born Young tied the knot with Kelsey when he was just 23 years old.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple said ‘I do’ in a private ceremony shortly after he turned professional in 2021. His caddie, Scott McKean, was his best man.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young and Kelsey have reportedly known each other since they were kids, but their relationship deepened while both attended Wake Forest University.<\/p>\n

They got to know each other better while Cameron Young played hockey with her brother.<\/p>\n

Although Kelsey is frequently spotted watching her husband at PGA Tour events, she is not a huge of the sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Her parents aren’t too keen on golf, either, Young previously said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young previously joked to Golfweek: “It’s actually great for me, because the last thing I want to do when I get home is answer questions like, ‘Why\u2019d you pull a 9-iron on 16?’ That would make my head explode, so that’s been a blessing.”<\/p>\n

Young and Kelsey got engaged in 2019. It is unknown where their wedding ceremony was held or where Young got down on one knee.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kelsey continues to life a very private life and is not on any form of social media.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple live in Jupiter Island, Florida, near many other high-profile professional golfers such as Tiger Woods<\/a>, McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler and Shane Lowry.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They have three children. Henry was born in 2022, John followed a year later and their daughter Vivienne was born last year.<\/p>\n

Young captured the biggest win of his professional career last month at the 2026 Players Championship.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He birdied the iconic par-three 17th at TPC Sawgrass to take a one-shot lead down the 72nd and held to defeat England’s Matthew Fitzpatrick after hitting the drive of his life.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Young, who is generally quite subdued on the golf course and keeps his emotions in check, paid tribute to Kelsey after he got his hands on the trophy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“None of this is possible without my wife Kelsey and my family,” he told the Golf Channel.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“She works incredibly hard on all of our behalf. I mean, it\u2019s constant.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“They travel all the time, so she holds up that part of it at home, and does it all on my behalf, so I can go do my job and chase my dreams.”<\/p>\n
