Ballpark food offerings have always been eclectic and, at times, deranged.<\/p>\n

The 2026 season has been no exception, with ballparks across the league (and overseas) releasing their food items with a unique twist of their own. The Arizona Diamondbacks unveiled their 128-ounce nachos, and the Marlins released their insanely long machete tacos, and other parks are trying to take the crown for the most unhinged food item title.<\/p>\n

With that, here are seven borderline-crazy food offerings across the league.<\/p>\n

9th inning Rally Sombrero (Texas Rangers)<\/p>\n

The Texas Rangers created a full-blown sombrero with nacho chips, cheese, lettuce, jalapenos, pico de gallo and many more ingredients. Of course, you can wear this on your head as you\u2019re consuming it \u2013 it\u2019s meant to literally take everyone\u2019s breath and attention away.<\/p>\n

Birria Ramen (St. Louis Cardinals)\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ramen is a great idea any day, and the St. Louis Cardinals decided to take this quite literally as they added Birria Ramen to their menu.<\/p>\n

This ramen comes in a baseball bowl, but the practicality of watching and eating this at a ballpark is in question. What happens if a player hits a bomb mid-noodles and you can\u2019t wait to get up from your seats to cheer or scream? Do you drop the bowl and forget about the noodles?<\/p>\n

Chocolate Fish on a Stick (Minnesota Twins)<\/p>\n

The Minnesota Twins are offering what is basically a Taiyaki (fish-shaped waffle with sweet filling) as a dessert this year.<\/p>\n

Taiyaki is a pretty good Asian sweet treat, so bonus points to the Twins for this idea. However, the execution of this dessert is all wrong, mainly because the Taikwayki looks so tiny in the pan with the melting ice cream. Maybe that\u2019s the whole point, but I\u2019m not sure if this is the most appealing treat across any ballparks.<\/p>\n

Egg rolls with different flavours (New York Mets)\u00a0<\/p>\n

The New York Mets released their egg rolls and the schedule for their flavours based on the opponents they are facing.<\/p>\n

This is an out-of-the-box idea to keep the fans hooked on the offerings and pay attention to who the opponents are and how well each filling represents them. For example, when the Cincinnati Reds are visiting, the egg roll fillings will be Skyline chilli and Cubano for the series against the Miami Marlins.<\/p>\n

Not sure how edible they are as a whole, but this deserves extra recognition as ingenious marketing.<\/p>\n

Heavy Hitter (Pittsburgh Pirates)\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Pittsburgh Pirates have built their own version of a hot dog this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cHeavy Hitter\u201d is a footlong hot dog with cornbread coating, yellow mustard and pico de gallo, and the special part is that it comes with a baseball boat. We love a good souvenir, and this is a brilliant idea from that perspective. In terms of eating this, though, there\u2019s definitely going to be no way that someone will finish this without spilling any of these toppings, if consuming all of this is even possible.<\/p>\n

Bat Flip 3LB Burger (Atlanta Braves)\u00a0<\/p>\n

This burger from the Atlanta Braves is special because its content is truly massive. It may not be the most massive in its size, but packing this many ingredients in a burger is an impressive feat.<\/p>\n

The \u201cBat Flip 3LB Burger\u201d contains two pounds of beef patties, crispy pork belly, crunchy onions, melted cheese, tomatoes and a fried egg. This is practically two or three meals in one sitting, but also props to whoever can fit this into their mouth in one go.<\/p>\n

Rainbow Bubble Waffe (Chicago White Sox)\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Chicago White Sox decided to bring every dentist\u2019s worst nightmare into reality. This bubble waffle comes with vanilla ice cream, gummy bears, Nerds candy clusters and sprinkles. One or two bites of this will give you enough sugar for the week, and I strongly advise fans not to visit their dentists for at least two weeks after attempting to consume this dessert.<\/p>\n

Honourary mentions<\/p>\n

Three-strike Fish Cake Croquette (Lotte Giants)<\/p>\n

While this isn\u2019t from an MLB ballpark, KBO\u2019s Lotte Giants are offering fish cake croquettes that resemble literal baseballs. If you aren\u2019t a big fan of fish-involved anything, this isn\u2019t for you, but if you don\u2019t mind the taste, this would be the snack to get if you\u2019re ever visiting the Lotte Giants stadium in South Korea.<\/p>\n

Cubano Slider (Toronto Blue Jays)<\/p>\n

There isn\u2019t anything particularly overwhelming in terms of food offerings from the Blue Jays side this year. But if there\u2019s anything that looks slightly daunting, it would be the Cubano slider that comes in a long souvenir cup with potato chips underneath.<\/p>\n

The content of the slider has pulled pork, ham, pickle, mustard and Swiss Cheese, which isn\u2019t the wildest compared to other ballpark offerings. That said, this would be a good shareable snack, rather than just a one-person treat.<\/p>\n
