{"id":600436,"date":"2026-04-13T04:07:32","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T04:07:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/600436\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T04:07:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T04:07:32","slug":"man-stabbed-at-brampton-go-station-suspect-sought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/600436\/","title":{"rendered":"Man stabbed at Brampton GO station, suspect sought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing near Brampton Go Station. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">A man is in hospital after a stabbing at a GO station in Brampton early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In an email to CP24, Peel police say officers responded to the Brampton GO Station at around 12:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators allege the victim, a man in his 30s, was involved in an altercation with a suspect that escalated, at which point the suspect stabbed him before fleeing the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The victim was transported to a trauma centre and remains in stable, non-life-threatening condition.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/C4TSHF2HHJDPHENCRRYQJCQ2IY.jpeg\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>PRP Peel police investigating after a stabbing at a GO station in Brampton Saturday morning (CP24 photo). <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The suspect is described as a male with brown skin, medium complexion, thin build, in his 20s to 30s. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He was last seen wearing a blue zip-up sweater with white lines, black pants, blue shoes, glasses, and a black balaclava<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">The investigation is being led by the 22 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau and remains ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a stabbing near Brampton Go Station.
