As the final round of the 2026 Masters Tournament at Augusta National<\/a> unfolds, defending Masters Champion Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland<\/a> has had to contend not only with competitors who have tightened the margins for the lead, but also with divorce rumors running rampant across the green.<\/p>\n

McIlroy has been married to his wife, Erica Stoll, for several years, and though there may be rumors of a marital separation now, they\u2019ve been quickly shut down by the pro golfer. Now his wife his chiming in, though she hasn\u2019t had to speak a single word to get her statement across. Erica Stoll, who is married to Masters Champion Rory McIlroy and with whom she shares one daughter, has been seen at the 2026 Masters Tournament wearing her iconic 5-carat diamond engagement ring. The choice to wear the ring so prominently is a clear message that puts divorce rumors to rest, especially since her ring is well known to be one of the most famous in the global golf community, according to Sports Illustrated<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Despite Rory McIlroy issuing a statement to put the divorce rumors to rest and Erica Stoll donning her dazzling diamond this weekend, the separation speculation between the pair isn\u2019t far-fetched. In 2024, the golfer actually filed for divorce at a time when he cited irreconcilable divorces \u2013 However, the couple made up and found their way back to each other.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s just for the cameras or in a more profound effort to be joyously present for their young daughter, Poppy, the family of three has been snapped both on and off of the course this weekend at the Masters Tournament held at the Augusta National Golf Club.
