{"id":601305,"date":"2026-04-13T14:12:07","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T14:12:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/601305\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T14:12:07","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T14:12:07","slug":"man-suffers-life-threatening-injuries-in-hit-and-run-crash-in-brampton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/601305\/","title":{"rendered":"Man suffers life-threatening injuries in hit-and-run crash in Brampton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries in a hit-and-run crash in Brampton on Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>A man in his 20s was hit by a vehicle in the Bovaird Drive West and McLaughlin Road area at around 5:20 a.m., Peel Regional Police said.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle did not remain on the scene, and there is no vehicle  description at this time, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the pedestrian was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Eastbound Bovaird Drive West is closed from McLaughlin Road to Royal Orchard Drive. Drivers should expect delays in the area, police added.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Major Collision Bureau is investigating.
