{"id":601399,"date":"2026-04-13T15:09:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-13T15:09:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/601399\/"},"modified":"2026-04-13T15:09:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-13T15:09:18","slug":"one-dead-in-crash-involving-motorcycle-and-semi-on-alex-fraser-bridge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/ca\/601399\/","title":{"rendered":"One dead in crash involving motorcycle and semi on Alex Fraser Bridge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>              One dead in crash involving motorcycle and semi on Alex Fraser Bridge<\/p>\n<p class=\"pubStamp\">Published 8:25 am Sunday, April 12, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Delta police are looking for witnesses to a fatal crash on the Alex Fraser Bridge Saturday night.<\/p>\n<p>At about 10 p.m. on April 11, police responded to a report of a fatal motor vehicle collision northbound on the bridge involving a motorcycle that had struck a semi-truck.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the 31-year-old male driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead on scene.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlcohol and speed have not been ruled out as contributing factors in this collision at this time. The incident is still under investigation,\u201d reads a Delta Police Department press release.<\/p>\n<p>Northbound lanes remained closed until after 6 a.m. Sunday morning.
