Yeah, it hurts when it doesn’t happen for you … Obviously, it’s not my favorite time, like walking off the 18th at that point. But I practice so hard at my game, and I work so hard and I enjoy being out here for days like this, Sunday going tomorrow. All the times when you’re in 40th place going into Sunday, 30th, 20th, you might have a great day and you might feel good, but it’s just not the same as being in contention.

“As I say, I just look forward to the opportunities and continue to give myself a chance, chasing my dreams, and whether they happen or not tomorrow or the next week or the week after, that’s another story. But I’m looking forward to it nonetheless.”

Fleetwood played scratchy golf early and lost the lead to J.J. Spaun and Scheffler as he made the turn. But Fleetwood canned a 33-foot birdie putt on the 12th hole to pull even with Spaun and Scheffler. He followed that with another birdie at 13 to retake sole possession of the lead with five holes to play.

But it was once again not to be Fleetwood’s day.

Spaun caught Fleetwood with a birdie on 17 while Rose poured in four birdies in a row to tie the two at 16 under. A sloppy bogey on 17 put Fleetwood one shot behind Rose and Spaun heading to 18.

Both Rose and Fleetwood made par at the 18th, which ended Fleetwood’s tournament and sent Rose to a sudden-death playoff against Spaun.

Rose and Spaun both parred the first playoff hole and traded birdies on the second.

Then, with a new hole cut on the third, Rose rolled in another birdie while Spaun’s attempt to match just slid by the hole, giving Rose his first win since the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Below is a breakdown of what everyone in the field earned this week in Memphis.
