IRVING, Texas \u2013 The UNT tennis team earned the No. 6 seed in the American Conference Championship and will take on No. 11 Memphis in the first round Thursday at 4:00 PM in Houston at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.

\nThe seeding is the highest for UNT since joining the American in the 2022-23 academic year. The winner of the first-round game will advance to the quarterfinal with a matchup against tournament host Rice Friday at 2:00 PM.
\n\u00a0
\nThe championship runs April 16-19, with the winner earning the American Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Championships.
\n\u00a0
