A New England Patriots executive revealed that NFL coach Mike Vrabel is still \u201cvery involved\u201d in player evaluations for the 2026-27 season after he was seen holding hands with and hugging<\/a> reporter Dianna Russini<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cBusiness as usual,\u201d Eliot Wolf told reporters at a pre-draft press conference on Monday, per People.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s been in there with us a little more than he was last year. He\u2019s been contributing. He\u2019s watched a ton of the players.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBusiness as usual,\u201d Patriots exec Eliot Wolf (seen here) said at a pre-draft press conference, per People. AP<\/p>\n

Vrabel, 50, skipped the press conference after he and Russini, 43, were photographed holding hands while at the Ambiente resort in Sedona, Arizona, last month, according to photos obtained by Page Six last week.<\/p>\n

The photos showed the duo \u2014 who are married to separate people \u2014 also embracing with a view of the\u00a0Brins Mesa mountain range behind them.<\/p>\n

A Page Six spy told us that Vrabel and the Athletic sports journalist were seen grabbing breakfast together and enjoying time at the pool and a hot tub.<\/p>\n

They also spent time together on a private rooftop that showcases the red rock formations around the resort.<\/p>\n

Vrabel told Page Six the photos obtained were \u201ca completely innocent interaction,\u201d while Russini said they \u201cdon\u2019t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day.\u201d <\/p>\n

Both Russini and Vrabel insist they were there with friends and say those friends simply weren\u2019t visible in the pictures.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a source close to the journalist shared that she was staying at the hotel with two female friends for a hiking trip.<\/p>\n

Photos obtained by Page Six last week showed Vrabel and Russini holding hands at a Sedona, Arizona, resort. \u00a9 Page SIx<\/p>\n

A pal close to Vrabel, meanwhile, shared that he drove to Sedona with a friend to hang out.<\/p>\n

The coach and his pal then drove back to their hotel \u2014 two hours away \u2014 after meeting up with Russini and her friends, the source added.<\/p>\n

However, eyewitnesses at the resort told us that they didn\u2019t see Vrabel and Russini with other people.<\/p>\n

After the photos were released, Page Six was told that Russini \u2014 a senior NFL insider \u2014 was sidelined by the Athletic<\/a>, a publication by the New York Times, and the outlet was \u201creviewing her coverage.\u201d The Atlantic declined to comment. <\/p>\n

Russini tied the knot to Kevin Goldschmidt \u2014 a Shake Shack executive \u2014 in 2020, and they share two kids together.<\/p>\n
