Investigators are searching for suspects and are asking the public for help following a shooting north of Brampton last week.<\/p>\n

The shooting happened around 3:45 a.m. on Friday at a home on Camino Real Drive in Caledon, the OPP says.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported, but police have released photos of a grey Honda sports utility vehicle that was seen leaving the area. One of the photos also shows a suspect pointing what appears to be a handgun at a residence.<\/p>\n

And while investigators say it is believed that the shooting was targeted, it isn\u2019t related to extortion incidents where South Asian residents have been targeted in recent years.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this time, investigators believe this was a targeted incident with no outstanding threat to public safety,\u201d police said while urging residents \u201cto remain vigilant\u201d and report any suspicious activity to police.<\/p>\n

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Caledon OPP by calling 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may also be provided to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 or visiting www.ontariocrimestoppers.ca<\/a>.<\/p>\n
