Blake Lively is reportedly planning to show a jury video of Justin Baldoni once questioning if he \u201charassed\u201d Britney Spears at their upcoming trial.<\/p>\n
The actress wants to use a 2017 clip of Baldoni recalling his awkward interaction with Spears<\/a> <\/a>when the pop star guest starred in an episode of \u201cJane the Virgin,\u201d the Daily Mail reported<\/a>. <\/p>\n In an interview with Fuse, Baldoni said he was a huge fan of Spears in high school and that prior to her coming on set, they had tweeted at each other.<\/p>\n Baldoni recalled coming to see Spears even though they didn\u2019t have any scenes together.<\/p>\n Blake Lively reportedly wants to use a 2017 interview of Justin Baldoni recounting his awkward interaction with Britney Spears in their upcoming trial. Baldoni then questioned, \u201cDid I just harass Britney Spears?\u201d Jordan Strauss\/Invision\/AP<\/p>\n \u201cI had gone up to her and in my mind, we\u2019re friends,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cWe weren\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I went up and I gave her \u2026 I went, \u2018Hey!,\u2019 and I gave her a big hug and I think I scared her, because she was like, \u2018Hi,\u2019 and I just had this awkward moment of, like, \u2018Did I just harass Britney Spears?’\u201d he questioned.<\/p>\n Baldoni played Rafael Solano on the CW\u2019s \u201cJane the Virgin,\u201d which ran for five seasons from 2014-2019.<\/p>\n Spears guest-starred in an episode during season 2 of the series, playing an exaggerated version of herself.<\/p>\n Lively has accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her on the set of \u201cIt Ends With Us.\u201d She\u2019s pictured here in court in February. Lively accused Baldoni of sexually harassing her on the set of the 2024 film, but her sexual harassment claims were dismissed<\/a> by a judge earlier this month.<\/p>\n Judge Lewis Liman threw out 10 of Lively\u2019s 13 claims against Baldoni, including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy, according to court docs obtained by Page Six.<\/p>\n However, three of her claims can proceed \u2014 breach of contract, retaliation and aiding and abetting in retaliation.<\/p>\n Lively and Baldoni\u2019s trial is set for May 18.<\/p>\n A judge threw out Lively\u2019s sexual harassment claims against Baldoni earlier this month. \u00a9Sony Pictures\/Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n Judge Lewis Liman threw out 10 of Lively\u2019s 13 claims against Baldoni, including sexual harassment, defamation and conspiracy, according to court docs obtained by Page Six. Lively\u2019s once-close friend Taylor Swift\u2019s<\/a> name appeared on a list of questions<\/a> \u2014 which Lively and Baldoni\u2019s legal teams worked \u201ccollaboratively\u201d to produce \u2014 to be used to select jury members for their trial.<\/p>\n One of the many questions asks: \u201cDo you know any of the following people that you may hear from or about over the course of the trial?\u201d according to court documents viewed by Page Six.<\/p>\n Swift\u2019s name popped up after a long catalog of other high-profile names who could potentially testify or be mentioned at trial.<\/p>\n The lawyers also added notes to ask if any potential jurors have knowledge of celebs like Lively\u2019s husband Ryan Reynolds, her sister Robyn Lively, or several members of her \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d cast including Hasan Minhaj, Jenny Slate, and author Colleen Hoover.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
