We are very excited that he is now part of the Blue Jackets organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Saskatoon native put up 86 points in 128 NCAA games with the University of Denver.<\/p>\n<p>Related Stories:<\/p>\n<p>Buckberger just <a href=\"https:\/\/swiftcurrentonline.com\/articles\/former-swift-current-broncos-captain-caswell-wins-ncaa-championship\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">helped the Pioneers win the NCAA championship alongside former Broncos Captain Clarke Caswell<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>He was also part of a championship in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Boston&#8217;s father, Ashley Buckberger, won the 1993 WHL Championship with Swift Current.<\/p>\n<p>The elder Buckberger also won the 1995 WHL Championship with Kamloops.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The son of a former Swift Current Bronco has signed with the NHL&#8217;s Columbus Blue Jackets.
