Ottawa Senators<\/a> star forward Brady Tkachuk<\/a> said Tuesday that he will be good to go for the start of the Stanley Cup Playoffs this weekend, Postmedia\u2019s Bruce Garrioch relays.<\/p>\n

Tkachuk was injured during the Senators\u2019 3-0 win over the New York Islanders<\/a> on Saturday when Islanders defenceman Ryan Pulock<\/a> got his stick up around Tkachuk\u2019s head\/neck area between the benches near the end of the second period.<\/p>\n

The 6-foot-4 winger struggled to get to his bench and after the intermission, he had a short shift before exiting the game for good. He then sat out Ottawa\u2019s game against the New Jersey Devils<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Sens head coach Travis Green<\/a> told reporters after the win over the Islanders that Tkachuk was not \u201cfeeling well.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to TSN\u2019s Claire Hanna, Tkachuk practised Tuesday on the second line alongside Dylan Cozens<\/a> and Ridly Greig<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old team captain has played in 60 games with the Sens this season. He has 22 goals and 37 assists for 59 points. He also helped the United States win their first gold medal at the Olympics since 1980 at Milano Cortina 2026 in February.<\/p>\n

The Sens have already clinched a playoff spot and are 43-27-11 with 97 points in 81 games. They wrap up the regular season against the Toronto Maple Leafs<\/a> on Wednesday before beginning their playoff slate against either the Buffalo Sabres<\/a> or Carolina Hurricanes<\/a>. <\/p>\n
