Broadway Across Canada\u2019s touring MAMMA MIA! is a hot ticket in Vancouver this spring.<\/p>\n
Ticketmaster\u2019s website lists the best \u201cverified resale\u201d seats at more than $600 each for the 25th-anniversary tour production, May 26 to 31 at the 2,800-seat Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Standard tickets go for $226, and they\u2019re hard to find in pairs for the eight show times that week.<\/p>\n
Since debuting in London in 1999 and on Broadway in 2001, the ABBA-fuelled musical has been a massive crowd-pleaser with its sunny, funny, song-filled tale of a mother, daughter and three possible dads on a Greek island. To date, 50 productions of MAMMA MIA! in 16 languages have grossed more than $7 billion around the world.<\/p>\n
