Rousey vs. Carano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bjpenn.com\/mma-news\/jorge-masvidal\/jorge-masvidal-claims-ufc-rousey-vs-carano-fight-offer-good-plans-return\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">headlines a stacked Most Valuable Promotions card<\/a>, which will be broadcast live on Netflix.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Rousey vs. Carano, the card features a fan-friendly bout between Nate Diaz and Mike Perry, along with the return of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Ngannou parted ways with the Professional Fighters League earlier this year after just one fight in the PFL Smartcage.<\/p>\n<p>Rousey vs. Carano marks Jake Paul and Most Valuable Promotions\u2019 first venture into MMA, and could be the first of many events to come of its kind. But just weeks before the event, Paul and his team will get their first taste of what it\u2019s like to have to replace a fight on short notice.<\/p>\n<p>Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano loses \u2018Fight of the Night\u2019 candidate<\/p>\n<p>In a recent <a style=\"font-size: 16px;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/da_monsoon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Instagram<\/a> post, former UFC star Lorenz Larkin announced his withdrawal from Rousey vs. Carano.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry to all the fans but I had to pull out of the Netflix card due to a knee injury,\u201d Larkin said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWill be rehabbing it back to 100% and will be back.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Larkin was scheduled to clash with former Bellator welterweight titleholder and former The Ultimate Fighter standout Jason Jackson on the Rousey vs. Carano undercard. As of this writing, it\u2019s uncertain whether or not MVP will seek a replacement opponent to fight Jackson on May 16th.<\/p>\n<p>As for what\u2019s next for Larkin, the 39-year-old hasn\u2019t fought since a knockout win over Levan Chokheli in September 2024.<\/p>\n<p>What is your prediction for Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano?
