Levels may exceed bankfull capacities at some locations, leading to minor flooding.<\/p>\n<p>The Red is expected to peak in Winnipeg between April 21st and 25th under normal future weather conditions.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, The Red River Floodway may start operation this weekend to control water levels in Winnipeg.<\/p>\n<p>The centre is also stressing overland flooding may develop in low-lying areas, especially where drainage systems remain partially frozen or obstructed.
