Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes had a heartwarming reunion Tuesday in New York City.<\/p>\n
The former \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d co-stars \u2014 who also briefly dated in real life \u2014 attended the gala screening for \u201cBrunello: The Gracious Visionary<\/a>\u201d held at the David Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center.<\/p>\n Jackson and Holmes, both 47, posed for pics together on the red carpet, clearly enjoying one another\u2019s company as they laughed and flashed big smiles at one another.<\/p>\n Jackson looked sharp in a burgundy blazer, gray slacks and a black bowtie, while Holmes was effortlessly stylish in a white blouse unbuttoned to show off her left shoulder, which she tucked into a glittery, floor-length gray skirt.<\/p>\n Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes had a \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d reunion in New York City Tuesday. Getty Images<\/p>\n Holmes styled her wavy brunette bob in a side part to complete her chic look.<\/p>\n Holmes and Jackson starred in the CW\u2019s iconic series \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek,\u201d with their characters \u2014 Joey Potter (Holmes) and Pacey Witter (Jackson) \u2014 ending up together by the end of the series.<\/p>\n They also dated in real life in 1998 while filming the show, though the relationship fizzled out after a year.<\/p>\n The duo has gotten cozy multiple times in recent years, including while shooting scenes for the film \u201cHappy Hours,\u201d <\/a>and at the \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d reunion<\/a> held at New York City\u2019s Richard Rodgers Theatre.in September 2025.<\/p>\n The former co-stars posed for pics together on the red carpet with big smiles. The actor died after a battle with colorectal cancer.<\/p>\n He was 48 years old.<\/p>\n Holmes posted a handwritten note<\/a> to Van Der Beek after news of his death broke, sharing,\u00a0\u201cI am so grateful to have shared in a piece of James\u2019 journey. He is beloved.\u201d<\/p>\n Holmes and Jackson, seen together on the red carpet Tuesday, mourned the death of their \u201cDawson\u2019s Creek\u201d co-star James Van Der Beek in February.
