\u201cAnd from that moment on, I sort of kept that as a vision for myself. I thought, \u2018One day I\u2019d love to make it happen\u2019.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo to now be going back \u2013 to a place where I was born, where my family is from \u2013 and fighting for a world title in front of the pyramids\u2026 it\u2019s a full-circle moment.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt feels like both fate and destiny.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI still have some extended family there that I try to go and visit at least once a year. Egypt\u2019s got some really beautiful places to visit.\u201d<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a tough out for Soliman against undefeated Japanese southpaw Hiruta (10-0, 2 KOs) \u2013 who was last year crowned The Ring\u2019s 2025 Female Fighter of the Year.<\/p>\n
She is one of the most active champs and has drawn comparisons to boxing phenom Naoya \u2018Monster\u2019 Inoue because of her skills and technical dominance.<\/p>\n
But Soliman is comfortable with the underdog tag \u2013 and even thrives on it.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s nothing new to me,\u201d she smiled.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou know, I\u2019ve been an underdog in a few of my other flights as well, especially the last fight against Jasmine Parr [Soliman staged a comeback to knock Parr out in the 7th round].<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m very familiar with being the underdog \u2013 if anything it\u2019s an advantage for me.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve been planning on fighting Hiruta for some time, but she\u2019s tough.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s a reason she\u2019s defended her title six times.\u201d<\/p>\n
