The \u201cInferno” Time of
\nDay has rolled back into the world of Hunt, bringing flames, destruction, and
\nblocked paths to the Incursion zones. Additionally, we’re pleased to announce
\nthat other fiery elements are joining it, including the possibility of running
\ninto the Hellborn on every map as well as special Supply Points that only
\nappear when the Inferno is searing through the bayou and gulch! <\/p>\n
Some of the supplies
\nyou’ll be able to find in the new Firefighter Supply include Water Bottles, Ammo,
\nTool Boxes, and Tarot Cards. If you’re willing to spend some Pledge Marks,
\nyou’ll be able to fight fire with fire, as the Flame Rifle will be attainable
\nfrom the Firefighter Supply too! <\/p>\n
If you’ve never veered
\ninto the flames before, you’ll need to make sure you know how to prepare for a
\nfire. Here are some top tips from the firefighters themselves!<\/p>\n
When preparing to face the Inferno, bring the \u201cSalveskin”
\nTrait with you\u2014it reduces all fire damage and makes sure you don’t lose Health
\nChunks too fast while tiptoeing around the Inferno’s path. If you accidentally catch yourself on fire
\n(this happens to even the most skilled firefighters sometimes!), you can place
\na Choke Bomb and walk through the Choke Cloud while you’re burning. This will make
\nthe burn effect stop and save you some precious health. The closer you are to the fire, the louder it
\nroars. This means that using the paths within the Inferno will open up some
\noptions for sneaky rotations while fighting, due to crouching steps barely being
\naudible. It’s hard to spot Hunters behind the fire and
\nsmoke, so using Dark Sight is one of the biggest advantages you can get while
\nfighting in the fire as audio is also limited, making it harder to track other
\nplayers. If a teammate dies and gets knocked back into
\nthe Inferno, it’ll be nearly impossible to get them back up, since you can’t
\nput out the fire (even with a Choke Cloud). Their Health Chunks will slowly
\nburn away, so you’ll need to avoid dying at the edges of the flames if you plan
\nto get out of the Mission alive.<\/p>\n
Stock up on water,
\nfight fire with fire, and keep an eye out for the Hellborn in this exciting new
\nupdate!<\/p>\n
