Meghan Trainor<\/a> is clearing the air on that so-called \u201ctoxic mom group\u201d drama … and it turns out, there\u2019s no bad blood with Ashley Tisdale<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The \u201cAll About That Bass\u201d singer told Us Weekly<\/a> Ashley hit her up directly after posting her viral essay in \u201cThe Cut<\/a>\u201d — you know, the one that had fans playing detective<\/a> trying to figure out which celeb moms were getting iced out.<\/p>\n

According to Meghan, Ashley kept it simple with a \u201cmy bad\u201d text.<\/p>\n

\u201cI texted all of them,\u201d Meghan said. \u201cAshley texted me like, \u2018I\u2019m sorry, your name got dragged in.\u2019 And I was like, \u2018It\u2019s all right, girl, like, the world\u2019s a silly, crazy place, and they just want something to talk about.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

After the release of Ashley’s essay, online sleuths believed she was referencing the group she shared with\u00a0Hilary Duff<\/a>,\u00a0Mandy Moore<\/a>, and Meghan … who basically shrugged it off.<\/p>\n

In fact, Meghan admitted she wasn\u2019t even that plugged into the group to begin with … calling herself a \u201cbad mom friend\u201d who skipped hangouts so often the other moms spun off into their own chat without her.<\/p>\n

No hard feelings, though … she says she was totally cool with it.<\/p>\n

Still, the fallout wasn\u2019t exactly fun for everyone. Meghan says the whole situation turned into a \u201cnightmare\u201d for some of the moms who suddenly found themselves in the spotlight — especially the ones who never signed up for fame.<\/p>\n

“I\u2019m used to (the hate),” Meghan said. “So I said, \u2018Don\u2019t worry, guys, it\u2019s all on me.\u2019 But some moms don\u2019t want to be famous or never wanted attention on them at all, and they were like, \u2018I was un-Googleable, and now I\u2019m everywhere, and I\u2019m devastated.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

As we reported … Meghan previously\u00a0poked fun<\/a>\u00a0at Ashley’s “toxic mom group” drama with a TikTok post promoting one of her songs. Her husband also told us there was no drama<\/a>\u00a0between Ashley and Meghan.<\/p>\n
