The community is invited to celebrate a day filled with activities and to check out the new park amenities.<\/p>\n

Gather your family and friends, and join Mississauga Members of Council, dignitaries and special guests this Saturday, April 18 for the official opening of Mattamy Sports Park\u2019s phase two development.<\/p>\n
The community can tour the sports park, participate in various family games and activities, partake in an official ceremony and the day\u2019s festivities.<\/p>\n
Phase two park amenities include:<\/p>\n
A lit cricket pitch with an artificial turf infield and wicket, bleacher seating and batting cage
\nMulti-purpose artificial turf field for field hockey and soccer
\nAn indoor, covered tennis facility with seven courts for tennis and pickleball, delivered in partnership with Premier Racquet Club
\nNatural areas and a stormwater management pond
\nShaded pavilions, a picnic event space and trail system that includes a multi\u2011use trail loop with fitness stations<\/p>\n

Mattamy Sports Park Cost<\/p>\n Free<\/p>\n Parking is limited, however, there are available options nearby at the Churchill Meadows Community Centre.<\/p>\n
