Prelim Pick of the Week: UFC 319
\nUFC Lightweight Fight: Edson Barboza vs Drakkar Klose<\/a><\/p>\n

Start Time: Saturday (8\/16) 6:00pm EST (ESPN+)<\/p>\n

Drakkar Klose is coming into this one as an underdog and I, for the life of me, can\u2019t figure out why.<\/p>\n

Klose has looked good against pretty much any fighter who couldn\u2019t bully him physically. Joel Alvarez got him with a flying knee and Beneil Dariush needed a come from behind win to get him out of there. Outside of those two losses, he\u2019s been flawless over the last 7.5 years.<\/p>\n

Edson Barboza isn\u2019t doing much knocking out these days. In his last five fights, he has just one knockout. Additionally, he\u2019s lost three of those four fights and many of the fighters have a similar profile to what Klose brings. He is finally going back to lightweight for this one, but I\u2019m not sure that\u2019s a good thing for his physicality.<\/p>\n

I expect Klose to work his cage control, snag a couple takedowns, and win a decision here.<\/p>\n
